Cookie policy
General provisions
1.1. This Cookie policy (hereinafter the Policy) explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on the monstr.pro website (hereinafter the Website), for what purposes and on what basis, and how a visitor to the Website (hereinafter the User) can control them.
1.2. The Website is operated by CDS Tech LLC (ООО «ЦДС Тех»), a company registered in the Russian Federation, TIN (ИНН) 7813661916, tax registration code (КПП) 781301001, primary state registration number (ОГРН) 1227800040203, registered address: office 306, premises 1-N, building 8 lit. A, Dobrolyubova Avenue, St Petersburg, 197198, Russia (hereinafter the Operator).
1.3. The Policy supplements the Privacy policy published at https://monstr.pro/ae-en/legal/privacy/ and applies to the processing of data collected through cookies on the Website in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter the PDPL).
1.4. The following terms are used in the Policy:
1.4.1. “Cookie” — a small piece of data that a website or a service connected to it stores in the User’s browser and that the browser sends back on subsequent requests.
1.4.2. “Third-party cookie” — a cookie set not by the Operator but by an external service connected to the Website.
1.4.3. “Local storage (localStorage)” — an area of browser memory in which a website can store data on the User’s device; unlike cookies, this data is not sent to the server automatically.
1.4.4. “Web analytics tool” — program code of an external service that collects information about visits to the Website and produces statistical reports for the Operator.
Cookies used on the Website
2.1. The Website does not set any cookies of its own. There are no strictly necessary cookies on the Website: its pages and request forms work without them.
2.2. The Website uses two web analytics tools, both of which are loaded and set cookies only after the User has consented (section 3):
2.2.1. Yandex Metrica (counter No. 97904326), a service of YANDEX LLC (Russian Federation);
2.2.2. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FE5MSMKCYE), a service of Google LLC (USA).
2.3. The main Yandex Metrica cookies set on the Website’s domain are:
2.3.1. _ym_uid — distinguishes one visitor from another; expires after 1 year.
2.3.2. _ym_d — stores the date of the first visit to the Website; expires after 1 year.
2.3.3. _ym_fa — a service cookie used together with _ym_uid to distinguish visitors; expires after 1 year.
2.3.4. _ym_isad — determines whether the visitor uses an ad blocker; expires after 20 hours.
2.3.5. _ym_visorc — a service cookie of the session recording tool (Session Replay, “Webvisor”); expires after 30 minutes. Session recording is not enabled on the Website, so this cookie is normally not set.
2.3.6. _ym_metrika_enabled — checks that the other Metrica cookies have been set correctly; expires after 60 minutes.
2.3.7. _ym_hostIndex — limits the number of requests to the service; expires after 1 day.
2.3.8. _ym_debug — indicates whether the counter’s debug mode is on; kept for the duration of the visit.
2.4. Yandex Metrica may also set third-party cookies on Yandex domains (in particular yandexuid, yuidss, i, ymex and usst, to distinguish visitors and synchronise identifiers, kept for up to 1 year; yabs-sid, a visit identifier kept for the browser session) and service entries in the browser’s local storage. The current list and expiry periods are given in the service documentation: https://yandex.com/support/metrica/general/cookie-usage.html.
2.5. The Google Analytics 4 cookies are:
2.5.1. _ga — distinguishes users; expires after 2 years.
2.5.2. _ga_FE5MSMKCYE — keeps the state of the session; expires after 2 years.
2.6. The analytics tools collect information about the pages viewed, the referring source, the time and duration of the visit, clicks on links and page elements, and technical information: IP address, browser and operating system type and version, device type, screen resolution, browser language, and approximate location derived from the IP address.
2.7. The Operator uses this data solely to compile visit statistics, analyse how the Website works and improve its content and usability. The Operator receives aggregated statistical reports from the services, does not use them to show advertising and does not match them with the data that the User enters in request forms.
Consent to cookies
3.1. On the first visit, the Website shows a banner with the buttons “Accept” and “Decline”. Until the User makes a choice, no web analytics tool is loaded and no cookies are set.
3.2. By pressing “Accept”, the User gives specific, clear and unambiguous consent to the use of the Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics cookies, to the processing of the data described in clause 2.6 for the purposes described in clause 2.7, and to the related cross-border transfers (section 4). The analytics tools are then loaded on the Website’s pages.
3.3. If the User presses “Decline”, the analytics tools are not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set. Declining does not restrict access to the Website or the ability to submit a request.
3.4. The User’s choice is saved in the browser’s local storage under the key monstr-consent. This entry is not a cookie: it contains only the choice made, is not sent to the Operator’s server and stays on the User’s device until the Website’s data is cleared in the browser.
3.5. The User can change their decision at any time, including withdrawing consent given earlier, by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the Website footer. Once consent is withdrawn, the analytics tools are no longer loaded; the User can delete cookies set earlier in the browser settings (section 5). Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

4.4. The Website does not use any other web analytics tools, advertising or social media widgets that set cookies.
How to control cookies
